The e-Swabhimani 2010 award winners were declared at the Award Gala on Tuesday, 09th November 2010 at Atrium Lobby- Cinnamon Grand, Colombo. e-Swabhimani is an initiative organized by the ICT Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) (www.icta.lk) in order to appreciate local talents for their contribution in uplifting lives of Sri Lankan’s in the field of IT.
myBiz.lk was able to win the jury’s certificate of appreciation under the  ”e-Business & Commerce” category. The awards for the winners in this category were clinched by Sampath Bank PLC (www.sampath.lk) for their “Vishwa Corporate-Trading Services” product and Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd (www.mobitel.lk) for their “m-Ticketing-Train Ticket Reservation System”.
Mr. Basil Rajapaksa–Hon. Minister of Economic Development, Mr. Lalith Weeratunga–Secretary to HE the President, Prof. P. W. Epasinghe–Chairman ICTA, Mr. Reshan Dewapura–CEO ICTA, were among the distinguished gathering present at the event.
